A Berry Granola Green Smoothie

It’s March and I’m seeing green!  What a great surprise to find spinach and carrots growing in the covered garden box after a grueling winter.  And yes, that is snow to the side of the box.

When I look inside here I see a lot of green smoothies in the making.

I did some weeding and thinning and decided the tiny carrots with their tops would be a nice addition to the smoothie tonight.

A Berry Granola Green Smoothie for Two

1 1/2 cups white grape juice

1 1/2 cups frozen berries

1 cup frozen banana

2 Tablespoons granola

6 cups spinach

Put juice, berries, banana, and granola in a heavy duty blender and blend until smooth.  Add spinach and blend again until smooth.  Very good for you and very yummy!
